Our Business
R&Q is a global non-life specialty insurance company. We operate two core, highly complementary, businesses: Program Management and Legacy Insurance. Both these businesses are leaders in their respective markets.
Our approach is to deploy our origination and underwriting capabilities, alongside our licensed and rated carriers in the US, EU and the UK, to generate attractive returns in Legacy Insurance and Program Management on behalf of both our capital partners and ourselves.
In Program Management we operate as R&Q Accredited, a leading program manager operating across the US and Europe. It is the only dedicated program partner to provide A- rated insurance capacity in each of the US, UK and Europe, including licenses to write admitted business in all 50 US states.
In Legacy Insurance, R&Q has a proven track record over three decades of acquiring discontinued books of non-life business. We have access to capital and the experience of managing legacy which enables us to free management and investors from the cost and constraints of handling discontinued business.
R&Q operates in large global markets which enjoy both secular growth and structural protection from the Property and Casualty cycle. We are excited by what we are seeing in Legacy Insurance and Program Management and see significant opportunities for these well-established, highly regarded businesses.

UPDATE ON TRADING, SALE OF ACCREDITED AND SALE OF INTEREST IN JOINT VENTURE
R&Q Insurance Holdings Ltd, (AIM-RQIH) ("R&Q" or the "Group"), today provides the following update on trading, the sale of Accredited and also announces that it has reached an agreement for Obra Capital, Inc. (together with its affiliates and funds/clients advised by Obra Capital Management, LLC, collectively “Obra”) to acquire all of the interests held by R&Q and its affiliates in the Joint Venture between Obra and R&Q, Sag Main Holdings LLC (“Sag Main”, or the “Joint Venture”).
