UK P&I CLUB N.V. (“UKNV”) IBT
Transfer of rights and obligations from non-life insurance contracts pursuant to Section 3.5.1a of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act.
Please take notice that the portfolio transfer agreement of non-life insurance agreements from UK P&I Club N.V. (“UKNV”) to Accredited Insurance (Europe) Limited was authorized on 24 March 2023 by De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. (the Central Bank of the Netherlands). The transfer became effective for all stakeholders on the second day following its publication in the Dutch Government Gazette (Staatscourant). This took place on Friday 19 May 2023.
The policyholders concerned are entitled under Article 3:120, paragraph 7 of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht) to terminate the non-life insurance contract by notifying UKNV in writing during a period of three months after the date of publication in the Staatscourant, such termination shall be effective from the day after the end of this period.
In the event of such termination, UKNV shall – where applicable – refund the insurance premium on a pro rata basis, based on the gross premium, and refund insurance tax, in accordance with the legal provision mentioned in the previous paragraph.
Change of Administration
With immediate effect, the contractual partner and contact going forward for the portfolio will now be AIEL.

The ongoing administration and management of AIEL’s business is handled by R&Q Central Services Limited, a services division of the R&Q Group.
